THE HEART OF SANCTUARY POINT
BCR Community Services is about bringing people together, building connections and supporting our local community. We offer a range of programs, activities and workshops for people of all ages, alongside practical support for individuals and families when they need a helping hand.
Based at the BCR Youth & Community Centre in Sanctuary Point, there’s always something happening. You can join a community activity, learn something new, meet new people, browse our 2nd Chance Op Shop, pick up affordable groceries from our Food Pantry, or talk to our friendly team about support and services available in our local area.
Everyone is welcome!
Located in the BCR Youth & Community Centre, our Pocket Food Pantry and 2nd Chance Op Shop are open to everyone. Every purchase you make supports our community initiatives.

The BCR Pocket Food Pantry
Good food, affordable prices and a friendly local place to shop. The Pocket Pantry helps make everyday groceries more affordable, with a changing range of essentials available each week.
Stock changes regularly, so you never quite know what you’ll find! Pick up basics like bread, eggs, cheese, cereal and pantry staples, along with ready-made meals and other great-value items when available.

BCR 2nd Chance Op Shop
Our 2nd Chance Op Shop is a small community op shop with a big purpose.
Browse affordable pre-loved clothing, shoes, accessories, books, games and small household treasures while helping quality items find a new home instead of going to landfill.
The Op Shop also creates valuable opportunities for young people to gain retail experience, develop workplace skills and build confidence in a safe and welcoming environment.

Unexpected bills, rising living costs and changes in circumstances can put pressure on any household.
If you’re struggling to afford food or other essentials, talk to our Community Services team. We can discuss what assistance may be available and help connect you with other services if you need additional support.
Emergency food relief is available through the BCR Youth & Community Centre Monday to Thursday, 9.30am–3pm.
