BCR Care Career Pathways can help you gain the skills, confidence and qualifications needed to start a career in aged care or disability support - right here in the Bay & Basin.

 

Thanks to funding through the Workforce Australia Local Jobs, Local People program, BCR Communities is supporting up to 15 young people over two years to complete a Certificate III in Individual Support in either Ageing or Disability.

If you're aged 17 to 24, or a First Nations person in the Shoalhaven, we'll support you every step of the way with hands-on training, work experience, nationally recognised qualifications and one-on-one support to help you build a career you can be proud of.

CERT III IN INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT - AGEING OR DISABILITY

Start your journey into the care sector. Gain the practical skills and a nationally recognised qualification to support older people, or people with disability. Learn everything from first aid and infection control
to person-centred care, communication, and supporting independence.

Funding for BCR Care Career Pathways is specifically for
young people aged 17-24, or First Nations people.

Sessions:

Thursdays

Main Delivery: 9.00am to 3.30pm
Study Hub: 3.30pm to 4.30pm

Locations:

Theory: BCR Wellness Centre

Practical: BCR Aged Care Cottage
